Are you ready for an exciting week full of jazz?

Or do you already have jazz experience and want to refine your playing and soloing through jazz standards?

Do you want to learn the art of improvisation on your instrument?

Then you are in the right place with us! Because we promise you five intensive days full of Jazz!

All typical jazz instruments are welcome! Our workshop is aimed at amateurs, semi-professionals or those interested in studying music from 15 years old. Professional musicians from other genres who would like to expand their skills in the jazz area are also very welcome and have come to the right place! We are looking forward to a great variety and range! A big highlight will be our public final concert in the neighboring village, where all combos are going to perform pieces they worked at during the week.

With instrument-specific group lessons, small theory sessions, and combo lessons, all participants are supported and encouraged according to their current level. In the daily jam sessions, it’s straight to playing and experimenting. Click on Content to learn more about our workshop program.

Our team (About us) consists of five talented professional musicians from different cities and countries with diverse musical backgrounds. Despite this variety, we share a common passion: the love of music, especially jazz. We all perform regularly and bring years of experience in teaching students of all ages and skill levels. In 2026 we had a really great time at our first round of the Playground Jazzcamp and we knew immediately: This should be the start of many more workshops during the next years. Important information: the main language of the workshop will be German. But no worries: we’ll translate for you, whenever it’s necessary.
